Biography

Nanase is a Japanese makeup artist based in New York City. After training in hair and makeup in Japan and gaining over six years of experience working in Tokyo, she moved to NYC in 2019 to expand her career. Inspired by her early love of painting, she approaches makeup as a form of creative expression, combining technical precision with artistic vision.

Since moving to New York, Nanase has worked on a wide variety of projects, including fashion shoots, runway shows, magazine editorials, commercial campaigns, and photo/video productions. Her work blends Japanese aesthetics with the dynamic energy of New York, resulting in distinctive, tailored looks for her clients.
